This is so awesome.

I bought a pny sd card on my recent trip and noticed a “free” content promotion for/from national geographic. I like natgeo, I like free. The concept is nice but of course they want your name, rank, and serial number. What ever happened to free free?
As mentioned previously I’ve moved the gallery to dreamhost and I’m loving it. The only problems I’ve encountered so far are:
1) It took me forever to get rsync working. This is because I’m an idiot and didn’t follow directions (you need to generate a sshkey!).
2) Ssh is “laggy”. I don’t have any performance problems with the server but ssh takes forever. Not sure what’s causing this but others I’ve talked to have no problem with ssh.
I also have a very slow upload, which is killing me on the initial backup upload, but that’s on my end. If you’re interested in signing up with dreamhost, and you should be, you can use the promo code DOMAINFORFREE for a free domain registration (One year registration, normaly 9.95 through dreamhost). Or if you don’t need the coupon you can use phosphers at gmail dot com as the referer which will still help me out
.
Well…. according to the industry paid labeling people they are. An interesting read about how the labeling doesn’t mean a thing.
I’ve moved the gallery to vasacreek.com, which is hosted on dreamhost. The, if not more, stuff will be there but much faster to access thanks to dreamhost’s fat pipes.
Nothing like manually editing trackers to get a torrent finished.
