When I made them we used HAMMERS and NAILS like MEN.  Fuck, we went out in the forest and cut down trees with fucking butter knives to make the goddamned bird houses.  If the bird houses weren’t perfect we had to run through town naked with our fathers shouting at us.  And if they were still not absofuckinglutly perfect we had to push a boulder up the side of the fucking mountain with our face!  Now THAT is how you make a bird house!

This innane ranting was triggered by a comment on irc about making birdhouses out of glue.  Boy am I messed up.

For giggles I installed wp-supercache in a test page I’ve been playing with.  Hours later I made some changes and couldn’t figure out why the hell they weren’t showing up up!  Duh, i had wp-supercache enabled and it kept showing me the cached pages.  I hadn’t even noticed!

This is the first round of edits. Finally finished. Now to type up the next draft.

I recently watched the “Before the dinosaurs” episode of Big Science and found it quite good.  The thing that caught my eye was how good the CG is.  Usually you get some hyper detailed model that moves funny, but the movements in this episode were really good.  Very believable throughout.  I also liked the way the show was presented, though I think a lot of it is pretty much speculation, it’s well done speculation.  If you haven’t seen it I highly recommend it.

I’m not sure why, but the DNS from zoneedit went totaly awol for a day or two.  It took forever to load the record on the webpage and the info was correct, but I was still getting the wrong ip rom DNS lookups.  Straaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaange.

I had to reboot the server because I fucked up iptables, then I noticed clutch wasn’t working.  Well, it turns out that when clutch can’t mount the working directory it kinda fails all over the place.  For some reason the md module was not loaded on reboot.  No idea why.
