And even more snow.
Still coming down, and we have around 5″-10″ inches here.

In my effort to get a new os on the server I decided to recompile the kernel. It shouldn’t be a problem, done it hundreds of times before! And did it a hundred times again. Turns out that PATA support doesn’t actually work, yet has been kept in the kernel for some reason. There’s no notice that it doesn’t work, and that SATA should be selected. GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!
A bit too cold, a bit to rainy, but hey I needed to stretch the legs. I also cleaned out some of the storm drains because I’m awesome like that.
Has anyone actually seen hardware that supports this? It’s been in the linux kernel for ages but I don’t know of any hardware that works for it.
